Dive into a Bible reading plan that is as convenient as your iPhone! Why carry around checklists, printouts, or other cumbersome ways of looking up daily readings, when an iPhone can do it for you? Read through the Bible in a year, starting today! Annual Bible lets you track your progress by letting you check off the day's verses and by telling you what percentage of the Bible you've read. Once you see what chapters to read, you can either read them in your own favorite Bible (leather, underlined, red-letter or otherwise) or touch any of the chapter listings to go to that chapter online on BibleGateway.com. By default, readings use the NIV (New International Version), but you can purchase a Translation Pack in the application for a nominal fee to gain access to NASB (New American Standard Bible) and KJV (King James Version) translations. Annual Bible provides two daily Bible reading plans (press the Info button to switch) to help you read through the Bible in one year: One helps you to read through the Old Testament once and the New Testament/Psalms twice in one year. On average, you'll read only 4 chapters a day, from 4 different books (to keep from getting bogged down in genealogies and dietary laws). This reading plan is based on the work of Robert Murray M'Cheyne. The other is a "linear" plan that doesn't jump between books each day but instead starts from Genesis and works through chapter by chapter through to Revelation.
